The Empire style is the dominant artistic style in the architecture, the interior decoration, for the furniture and in the fashion, during the early nineteenth century the style has spread from France to the rest of Europe, Russia and USA.

In the United Kingdom, the United States and Germany the Empire style was adapted to the local conditions and gradually took the form of Egyptian Revival architecture, the Greek Revival architecture, the Biedermeier style and the Regency style.
