A reproduction of a marbel sculpture of high quality made in reconstituted marble (marble dust with resin). Finished with a patina of aging. The patina of aging is applied with natural earth. A true marble and stone texture. The texture of the stone and marble suggest that we are touching the original of an ancient sculpture.

Antinous was a young man of great beauty, favourite and presumably lover of the Roman emperor Hadrian (76 AD – 138 AD). Many portraits of him have survived to the present day. From the Renaissance to the present day, Antinous has been widely represented in art, especially in sculpture, and his enigmatic figure has captured the attention of numerous artists.
