Marcus Tullius Cicero (106 BC) was a Roman jurist, politician, philosopher, writer and orator. He is universally recognised as one of the most important authors in Roman history, responsible for the introduction of the most famous Hellenistic philosophical schools into republican Rome, as well as for the creation of a philosophical vocabulary in Latin. Great orator and reputed lawyer.
