Johann Baptist Strauss (son) was an Austro-German conductor and composer and was valued internationally as the “Waltz King“. To distinguish him from his eponymous father, he is also known as Johann Strauss II. He was born on 25 October 1825 in the city Urlich of Vienna and died at the age of 73 at 3rd of June 1899 in Vienna.
