Recreation of a medieval relief, taken from the chest of San Millán de la Cogolla, which was made in the 11th century in a style of transition between Mozarabic and Romanesque art. The original piece is a reliquary, a wooden box with twenty-two attached carved ivory plaques depicting episodes from the life of the saint. This plaque depicts one of the miracles attributed to San Millán, that of the multiplication of wine during a dinner offered to a large crowd.
