Reproduction of a sculpture of the Apollo Strangford of great quality made with reconstituted marble (powder of marble with resin). Finished with antique patina. The patina of ageing is applied with natural lands. Marble and petrel textures. The stony texture suggests the touch of an ancient original.
 
The Apollo Strangford or Kouros of Anafi is a sculpture type kouros that dates from the year 500 BC-490 BC and which was sculpted in the area of the Cyclades, during ancient Greece. He is currently in the British Museum in London
 
Kouros in Greek simply means ' youth '. It is a term used to describe a type of statue of a male figure produced in marble during the Archaic period of Greek art.
