Head made in reconstituted marble (marble dust + synthetic resin) with a finish in ancient bronze, supported by a golden iron foot over a black base of synthetic resin, which enhances the elegance of the piece.

Bust based on the statue of Leonidas in Sparta.
Leonidas I ( c. 540 BC – 480 ) was a Spartan king, famous for dying heroically along with 300 of his warriors and another 1100 soldiers from other Greek polis in the defence of the pass of Thermopylae against the Persian army of King Xerxes during the Second Median War (480 – 478 BC).
