Reproduction made of moulded marble (marble powder + resin). Finished with ageing patinas.

Measurements: Height: 14 cm. Width: 9,5 cm. Depth: 3 cm.

Reproduction of the stele of the Marathon runner. Archaeological Museum of Athens. Circa 500 BC.

This stele was erected in homage to the messenger who gave the news of the victory over the Persians in the battle of Marathon, dying in exhaustion after arriving in Athens.
